Visa & FlightsThe countries within the SADC region will welcome most countries and nationals without a visa. (Please check with us on booking or confirm with relevant embassy if you are unsure) ​ Inbound and Outbound flights are separate. Upon arrival, you will be met by one of us and be transferred to the nearby accommodation. Scheduled flights to all destinations - to and from Windhoek, Maun, Kasane, Victoria Falls and Livingstone are available from: SA AirLink Kenya Airways Air Namibia Cem Air ​ Note: Inbound airports is not always the same as outbound airport. For example, fly into Maun and depart from Victoria Falls (depending on the tour). Please check itinerary for more details.

Getting AroundWe have our very own luxury shuttle with air-conditioning and onboard refreshments. Some tours require a 4x4 vehicle to get into remote locations in Botswana. For these trips, we use our game-viewing vehicle, a 10+ seater Landcruiser with open sides and plenty of space. ​ Some tours include a one-way transfer flight. For example, the Classic tour which includes a regional flight from Cape Town to Victoria Falls. Please note however this is only one-way and your return ticket is for your own expense. ​ Travel times between stops and accommodation is two to five hours max. We appreciate that you are on vacation and with this in mind, a relaxed travel plan with pitstops, breaks and lots of laughter are guaranteed.

Accommodation TypesAll our accommodation options are based on a shared room rate. Depending on the tour, the accommodation will include 4-star lodges, each with ensuite bathrooms, exquisite tented-camps, city hotels and glamping (fancy camping).

VaccinesVaccinations and malaria prophylaxis are for your own decision-making. Please consult your doctor before you travel. It is winter in Africa during May to August when we travel and there is no malaria, however it still remains your responsibility whether to take the medicine or not. December is our summer month. Once the booking is confirmed you will bet a detailed list of items to pack. For your peace of mind, the areas that we will be visiting is safe for visitors and it provides a high level of service. I’m also very familiar with all the places and your safety to me will be top priority at all times. Each tour will include A+ Graded First-Aid trained Guide able to assist with any emergencies.

Cameras & Flashes: Please be conscious of the animals sensitivity to flashes during night time photography. Speak to your Tour Leader to understand the ins and outs Group photos are permitted with consent of all. This includes fellow travellers, locals and tribesman.

What should I pack for a safari tour?When going on a safari tour, it's essential to pack light, breathable clothing, comfortable walking shoes, a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, a camera, binoculars, and any necessary medications. Don't forget to bring a refillable water bottle and a small backpack for your essentials.
